Car

If you are driving from Jakarta, take the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road (Toll road 1) towards Merak. After approximately 2 hours, take the exit toward Cilegon and continue on the road to Pandeglang. Follow the signs to Lebak and then to Bayah. Once you reach Bayah, look for signs to Sawarna. Tanjung Layar Beach is located at Pesona Sawarna Komplek, Tanjung Layar Blok Ciantir. The entire drive should take around 4-5 hours depending on traffic.

Public Transportation

Start your journey by taking a bus from Jakarta to Rangkasbitung. Several bus companies operate on this route, and the journey takes around 2-3 hours. From Rangkasbitung, you can catch a local minibus or 'angkot' to Bayah. Once in Bayah, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) or take a local 'angkot' to Sawarna. Ask the driver to drop you off at Pesona Sawarna Komplek, Tanjung Layar Blok Ciantir, which is near Tanjung Layar Beach. The total travel time will be around 4-5 hours, depending on connections.

Motorcycle Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Bayah, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to Tanjung Layar Beach. This can be arranged through local drivers once you arrive in Bayah. The distance from Bayah to Tanjung Layar Beach is about 10 kilometers, and the ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically costs around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000.
