From Borobudur Temple, head east on Jl. Badrawati toward Jl. Raya Borobudur. Continue straight, following the signs for Jl. Raya Borobudur, which will turn into Jl. Borobudur. After approximately 8 km, turn left onto Jl. Ketep Kopeng. Ketep Gardu Pandang will be on your right after about 5 km. Ensure you have cash for any parking fees that may apply.

From Borobudur, take a local bus or shared minivan (angkot) heading to Magelang. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Ketep. Once you reach Magelang, you will need to take another angkot or a taxi to Ketep Gardu Pandang. Confirm with the driver your destination to ensure you are taken close to the site. This journey may cost around 20,000 IDR for the bus and an additional 30,000-50,000 IDR for the taxi or angkot ride.
