Car
From Borobudur, head northeast on Jl. Borobudur towards Jl. Raya Borobudur. Continue straight for about 2.5 km until you reach the junction at Jl. Raya Magelang - Borobudur. Turn left onto Jl. Raya Magelang - Borobudur and continue for approximately 10 km. When you reach the town of Sawangan, look for the sign for Ketep Pass and turn left onto Jl. Ketep. Follow the signs for another 6 km until you reach Ketep Pass. The total journey takes around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation
Start at the Borobudur bus station, where you can catch a local minibus (angkot) heading to Magelang. The fare is approximately IDR 10,000. Once you arrive in Magelang, you will need to take another angkot from the Magelang bus terminal towards Sawangan. The fare for this leg is also around IDR 10,000. Ask the driver or locals for the stop closest to Ketep Pass. After getting off, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the entrance of Ketep Pass.
