If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Borobudur. Head east on Jalan Raya Borobudur and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. Turn left onto Jalan Taman Buah and follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Punthuk Setumbu Explore on your right. There is parking available at the site, and the entrance fee is around IDR 15,000 per person.
Public Transportation
To reach Punthuk Setumbu Explore via public transportation, take a local minibus (angkot) from Borobudur terminal towards Magelang. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the intersection near Jalan Taman Buah. The fare is around IDR 10,000. Once you get off, walk approximately 1 kilometer down Jalan Taman Buah until you see the entrance to Punthuk Setumbu Explore on your right.
Walking
If you are already near Borobudur Temple and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start by heading east on Jalan Raya Borobudur, then turn left onto Jalan Taman Buah. The walk is about 4 kilometers and takes roughly 50 minutes. Enjoy the lush scenery along the way. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and carry water, especially if you are walking during the day.
