    If you are driving from Borobudur, begin your journey by heading south on Jl. Raya Borobudur. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by the Borobudur Temple on your left. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Mendut. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Jl. Mayor Kusen. Continue on Jl. Mayor Kusen for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Mendut Buddhist Monastery on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.

    From Borobudur, head to the nearest minibus terminal, where you can catch a minibus heading to Mungkid. The fare is typically around IDR 20,000.
