Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Bukit Lawang, you can easily reach ROCK PARK on foot. Start by heading east on Jl. Orangutan towards the bridge. Cross the bridge over the Bohorok River. Once you cross the bridge, continue on the same road for about 500 meters. You should see signs pointing towards ROCK PARK. The route is scenic and will take you through some local shops and eateries. The total walking distance is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Bukit Lawang. Once you have your bicycle, head east on Jl. Orangutan and cross the bridge over the Bohorok River. Continue straight for about 500 meters. Bicycling is a great way to enjoy the natural scenery along the route. Ensure you rent a bicycle for a few hours to allow time for exploration. Rental costs can vary but expect to pay around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 for a few hours.

• Motorbike Taxi (Ojek)

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi (ojek). You can find ojek drivers near the main road in Bukit Lawang. Simply tell the driver that you want to go to ROCK PARK. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The fare should be around IDR 10,000 to IDR 20,000. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.

• Private Car

  If you have a private vehicle or are renting a car, you can drive to ROCK PARK by following these directions: Start from Bukit Lawang center and head east on Jl. Orangutan. Cross the bridge over the Bohorok River and continue on this road for about 500 meters. ROCK PARK will be on your right, look for signs indicating its entrance. Ensure that you have a GPS or map app ready, as local signage may vary. Parking is usually available nearby.
