Be prepared to pay a parking fee, which is around IDR 5,000. After parking, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the temple.

From Yogyakarta, you can take a public bus to Borobudur. Head to the Jombor Bus Station in Yogyakarta and board a bus heading to Magelang. The bus fare is approximately IDR 30,000. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Magelang, you may need to transfer to a minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach Borobudur Temple, which is around 15 kilometers away.
