If you are starting from Jayapura, head southwest on Jl. Raya Abepura. Continue for about 2.5 hours until you reach the town of Sentani. From there, take the road towards the town of Wamena. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, and you will encounter some rough patches, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. Once in Wamena, follow signs to Yakapis, which is about 1-2 hours away.
