If you are starting from Labuan Bajo, drive towards the town of Bima. The journey will take approximately 6 hours, covering around 300 kilometers. Follow the main road (Trans Flores) until you reach Bima. Upon arrival in Bima, head towards Sape Port, which is about 30 minutes from Bima city center.

From Labuan Bajo, take a bus to Bima. Buses leave regularly and the journey takes around 8 hours. Once you arrive in Bima, you can take a local taxi or a bemo (minibus) to Sape Port, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are heading to Sape Port.

From Sape Port, you will need to take a boat to reach Satonda Island. There are local boat operators available at the port. The boat ride typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges between IDR 300,000 to IDR 500,000 depending on the boat's capacity and the number of passengers.
