Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Labuan Bajo, the nearest major city. Drive east on Jalan Raya Labuan Bajo for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Wae Lolos. Follow the signs to Sano Nggoang and then look for the signs directing you to Cunca Plias, which is located at the coordinates 92PF+V3. The drive should take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to have a map or GPS available as some areas may not have clear signage.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, you can take a local minibus (angkot) from Labuan Bajo to Wae Lolos. The fare is generally around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Once you arrive in Wae Lolos, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach Cunca Plias, as it is approximately 10 kilometers away from the town center. The cost for the motorcycle taxi should be around IDR 50,000 to IDR 70,000, depending on your negotiation skills.

• Hiking

  If you're adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, consider hiking to Cunca Plias. From Wae Lolos, you can start your hike by following local trails. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry enough water and snacks for the journey. The hike may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level. Hiring a local guide is recommended for safety and to enhance your experience, which may cost around IDR 100,000.
