Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the center of Gorontalo, head north towards Jalan Jenderal Sudirman. Follow the road out of Gorontalo, which will lead you towards the Bone Bolango Regency. Once you reach the junction near the Kabila Bone area, take a left turn onto the access road (approximately 12 km from the center). Continue driving until you see the signs for Pantai Botubarani. It will be located on your right-hand side. Ensure you have a map application ready to guide you accurately, as some roads may not be well-marked.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pantai Botubarani using public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Gorontalo. Look for a bus or minivan heading towards Bone Bolango Regency. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Kabila Bone, which is the nearest stop to Pantai Botubarani. The ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Kabila Bone, you may need to hire a local taxi or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to cover the remaining distance to Pantai Botubarani, which is about 5 km away. Taxi fares can range from IDR 20,000 to IDR 50,000.

• Combination of Car and Ojek

  If you prefer a combination of driving and using local transport, you can drive to the outskirts of Kabila Bone and park your car safely. Then, hire an ojek to take you directly to Pantai Botubarani. This method allows you to avoid parking concerns at the beach and lets you enjoy a short local ride. Ojek fares usually range from IDR 10,000 to IDR 20,000 for the short trip.
