Car
If you have a car, start your journey from Gorontalo city center. Head southwest on Jl. Sultan Botutihe. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Jl. Prof. Dr. Hamka. Turn left onto Jl. Prof. Dr. Hamka and follow it until you reach the junction with Jl. Raya Marisa. Turn right onto Jl. Raya Marisa and drive for about 1 hour (approximately 45 km) towards Marisa. As you approach Marisa, look for signs indicating 'Pantai Pohon Cinta' and follow the local roads towards Wilayah Wisata Pohon Cinta. There is no entry fee for the beach itself, but parking may incur a fee of around IDR 5,000.
Public Transportation
To reach Pantai Pohon Cinta using public transportation, start by taking a minibus (angkot) from Gorontalo city to Marisa. Head to the main terminal in Gorontalo and look for the minibus heading to Marisa. The fare is approximately IDR 25,000. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Marisa, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you directly to Pantai Pohon Cinta for around IDR 20,000. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.
