Car
If you are driving from any location in Highlands Papua, you will first need to find your way to Sentani International Airport (DJJ) in Jayapura. Upon arriving at the airport, you will need to book a flight to Yogyakarta (YIA). Upon arrival in Yogyakarta, you can hire a car or take a taxi to Prambanan Temple, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the city center. The address is Jl. Raya Solo - Yogyakarta No.16, Kranggan, Bokoharjo, Kec. Prambanan, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55571. Expect to pay around IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 for the taxi ride.
Public Transportation
To reach Prambanan Temple using public transport, take a flight from Sentani International Airport (DJJ) to Yogyakarta (YIA). Once you arrive at Yogyakarta, you can take a bus from the airport to the city center. From the city center, you can catch a TransJogja bus (Route 1A) towards Prambanan.
