The ferry costs around IDR 6,000 per person and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Bali, follow the signs to Denpasar and take the Ngurah Rai Bypass towards Tabanan. Continue on this road until you reach the Tanah Lot exit. Follow the signs to Tanah Lot, which is approximately 30 minutes from the bypass. There is a parking fee of about IDR 10,000 for cars.

Public Transportation

To reach Tanah Lot via public transport, start at your location in Java and take a bus or train to Banyuwangi. From there, take a ferry to Gilimanuk, Bali. The bus or train fare varies but expect around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 for the journey. Once in Gilimanuk, you can catch a local bus or a shared taxi to Tabanan. Arriving in Tabanan, look for a local transport option or a taxi to Tanah Lot, which is about a 20-minute drive. Ensure to confirm the total fare upfront with taxi drivers; it should be around IDR 100,000.
