Once you reach the intersection with Jalan Balikpapan Handil, turn left. Continue on Jalan Balikpapan Handil for about 44 kilometers. You will see signs for Samboja Lestari on your right. Note that parking is available on-site.

To reach Samboja Lestari via public transportation, first take a bus from Balikpapan to Samboja. Buses depart from the terminal in Balikpapan and take approximately 1 hour to reach Samboja. Once you arrive in Samboja, you will need to take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) or a shared taxi to cover the remaining distance of about 10 kilometers to Samboja Lestari. Make sure to confirm the fare with the ojek driver beforehand; it typically ranges from IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000.
