If you are traveling by car from any location in Kalimantan, you will first need to take a flight to Ende, which is the nearest airport to Kelimutu National Park. After arriving at Ende Airport, rent a car or hire a taxi to reach the park. The drive from Ende Airport to Kelimutu National Park takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs to the town of Detusoko, and then continue toward West Detusoko, where the park entrance is located. Be prepared for some winding roads and beautiful scenery along the way.

Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, take a flight from Kalimantan to Ende. After arriving at Ende Airport, you can take a local minivan or 'angkot' to Detusoko. The minivan ride will take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Detusoko, you can either walk or hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach the entrance of Kelimutu National Park, which is about 15-20 minutes away. Ensure to check the minivan schedule ahead of time as they may not run frequently.

Another option is to combine transportation methods. Fly from Kalimantan to Ende, then take a local taxi to the bus terminal in Ende. From there, catch a bus heading toward Detusoko.
