If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Parapat, which is a common entry point to Lake Toba. From Parapat, head towards Samosir Island by taking the ferry from the Parapat ferry terminal. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs around IDR 20,000 per person (IDR 100,000 for a car). Once you reach Samosir Island, follow the main road towards Tuk Tuk. Continue on the road until you reach the junction leading to Sosor Dolok. Take this road and follow the signs for Efrata Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 20 minutes away from Tuk Tuk, and you will arrive at the parking area near the entrance. A short 10-minute hike will lead you to the waterfall.
