If you are traveling by car, start from any major town around Lake Toba, such as Parapat. Head towards the road that leads to Lintong Nihuta. To reach Pakkodian via public transportation, take a bus from Parapat to Lintong Nihuta. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Parapat and the fare is quite affordable (approximately IDR 20,000). The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Lintong Nihuta, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to Pakkodian for around IDR 10,000. Ensure to confirm the price before starting your ride.
