Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Bandar Lampung, take the Trans Sumatra Highway (Route 1) heading south. Continue for about 90 km until you reach the junction for Tanggamus. Turn left onto the road leading to Tanggamus and continue for approximately 30 km. You will reach the town of Kelumbayan. From there, follow the signs toward Kiluan Negeri. Once in Kiluan Negeri, take Jalan Teluk Kiluan and look for the location 6494+6X7, which is Laguna Gayau. Make sure to check the local road conditions as some areas may be under construction or have detours.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Laguna Gayau using public transport, take a bus from the Rajabasa Bus Terminal in Bandar Lampung to Tanggamus. Buses to Tanggamus typically run every hour. After arriving in Tanggamus, you will need to hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to Kiluan Negeri. The taxi ride may cost around IDR 150,000 to IDR 200,000 depending on negotiation. Once you reach Kiluan Negeri, ask the driver to take you to Jalan Teluk Kiluan, where Laguna Gayau is located at 6494+6X7. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

  For those who prefer a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Bandar Lampung. Once you have your motorbike, follow the same route as mentioned for drivers. This option allows for flexibility in exploring the surrounding areas. Rental costs typically range from IDR 75,000 to IDR 150,000 per day. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet for safety. After reaching Kiluan Negeri, navigate to Jalan Teluk Kiluan to find Laguna Gayau.
