Getting There

• Car

  If you have a car, start your journey from Bandar Lampung, the capital city of Lampung. Head north on Jl. Soekarno-Hatta and follow the signs for Jl. Lintas Sumatera (Trans-Sumatran Highway). Continue driving for about 3-4 hours (approximately 150 km) until you reach the town of Banjit in Way Kanan Regency. Once in Banjit, look for signs leading to Hutan Register 24. The waterfall is located within this area. Park your car at the designated parking area and follow the trail to Putri Malu Waterfall.

• Public Transportation

  For tourists using public transportation, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Bandar Lampung to Way Kanan. Buses to Way Kanan run regularly. Once you arrive at the Way Kanan bus terminal, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Banjit. Inform the driver that you are heading to Hutan Register 24, where Putri Malu Waterfall is located. The minibus fare may cost around IDR 20,000-30,000. After reaching Hutan Register 24, you will need to hike a short distance to the waterfall.

• Ojek (Motorcycle Taxi)

  If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Banjit, you can hire an ojek. This is a convenient option for covering the last stretch to Hutan Register 24. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride, which should cost around IDR 30,000-50,000 depending on the distance and your negotiation skills.
