Car

If you are driving from Bandar Lampung, take the Jl. Lintas Sumatera road towards Kalianda. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Kalianda, look for signs directing you to the harbor for boat services to Cagar Alam Krakatau. Park your car at the harbor and purchase a boat ticket to Pulau Anak Krakatau. The boat ride takes about 1 hour.

Public Transportation

From Bandar Lampung, take a minibus (angkot) or a bus heading to Kalianda. The travel time is about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon arriving in Kalianda, you will need to take a ojek (motorcycle taxi) or walk to the harbor. At the harbor, purchase a boat ticket to Pulau Anak Krakatau. The boat ride will take approximately 1 hour.

Once at the harbor in Kalianda, you will need to buy a ticket for a boat ride to Pulau Anak Krakatau. Be prepared for external costs; the price for a boat ticket may vary but generally ranges from IDR 200,000 to IDR 300,000 per person for a return trip.
