Diponegoro road heading to the main highway (Jl. Raya Soekarno-Hatta) towards the city of Masohi. Follow the signs towards Banda Islands. This drive will take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach Masohi, take the ferry to Banda Neira, which costs around IDR 50,000 (approx. $3.50) per person and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. From Banda Neira, drive or hire a local guide to take you to Nusantara, Banda, where Mount Api is located.
