Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Ambon. Head southeast on Jl. Diponegoro towards Jl. Sultan Hasanuddin. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach Jl. Amanhuse. Turn right onto Jl. Amanhuse, and follow it for approximately 1.5 km. You will see signs for Santai Beach on your left. There is no entry fee for the beach, but ensure you have some cash for parking if needed.
Public Transportation
To reach Santai Beach using public transportation, take a minibus or angkot from Ambon city center heading towards Latuhalat. The fare is typically around IDR 10,000 (approximately $0.70). Inform the driver that you want to go to Santai Beach. Once you reach the area, you may need to walk approximately 500 meters to the beach entrance. Keep some cash ready for any small fees or purchases at local vendors.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Latuhalat, you can walk to Santai Beach. From Jl. Amanhuse, head towards the coast and follow the path leading to the beach. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest minibus stop. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially if you are visiting during the day.
