Public Transport
To get to Mount Klabat from Manado, start by heading to the nearest bus terminal, which is Terminal Malalayang. You can take an angkot (public minivan) from various points in Manado that head towards Malalayang. Once you arrive at Terminal Malalayang, look for a bus heading to Airmadidi or Kauditan. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Kauditan. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. After reaching Kauditan, you can either walk or take a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to the base of Mount Klabat. The trailhead is well marked.

If you're staying in the Kauditan area, you can simply walk to the base of Mount Klabat. From the center of Kauditan, head east on Jl. Raya Kauditan for about 2 kilometers until you see the signs for Mount Klabat. It will take roughly 30 to 40 minutes on foot, and it's a pleasant walk with scenic views.
