The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tomohon, you can ask locals for the direction to Mount Mahawu, which is about 15 minutes away by walking. Follow the main road until you reach the entrance of the Mount Mahawu hiking area.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) from anywhere in Manado. Simply use a ride-hailing app like Gojek or Grab, or ask locals to help you find one. Enter 'Kakaskasen Satu, Tomohon Utara' as your destination. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and the drivers are familiar with the area, so they will take you directly to Mount Mahawu.

Walking from Tomohon
If you are already in Tomohon, you can walk to Mount Mahawu. From the Tomohon market, head east on Jl. Kesehatan, then take a left on Jl. Kakaskasen. Follow this road straight until you see signs for Mount Mahawu. The walk will take about 30 minutes, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
