From Mount Bromo, take the road towards Probolinggo. Continue on the main road until you reach the intersection leading to Malang. Follow the signs to Malang. Once in Malang, follow the signs to Poncokusumo. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic. From Poncokusumo, take the road towards Dusun Ngadas. The waterfall is located near Dusun Ngadas, so keep an eye out for local signage to Coban Pelangi Waterfall.

From Mount Bromo, take a local bus or shared minivan to Malang. This can take around 2-3 hours depending on the service. Once you arrive in Malang, head to the Malang bus terminal and catch a bus to Poncokusumo. The bus ride to Poncokusumo takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival in Poncokusumo, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach Dusun Ngadas, where Coban Pelangi Waterfall is located. The motorcycle taxi ride should take about 30 minutes, and you can negotiate the fare with the driver. Expect to pay around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 for this ride.
