Getting There

• Private Car

  From Mount Bromo, you will need to drive towards Probolinggo. Take the road that leads to Probolinggo and follow the signs. The journey will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you reach Probolinggo, take the turn to the left onto the Jl. Raya Probolinggo - Malang road. Continue straight for about 45 minutes until you reach Malang. As you approach the city, look for signs directing you to the city center. You will arrive at Malang City Square located at Kiduldalem, Klojen.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To take a bus from Mount Bromo to Malang, first, you need to reach Probolinggo bus terminal. You can hire a local transport (ojek or shared taxi) to get there, which may cost around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000. From Probolinggo, look for buses heading to Malang. The bus journey will take approximately 2 hours and cost around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000. Make sure to tell the bus driver to drop you off near Malang City Square, which is located in Kiduldalem, Klojen.

• Shared Taxi (Travel)

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a shared taxi (travel) from Mount Bromo to Malang. You can book a seat in a shared travel van that will take you directly to Malang City Square. The shared taxi service generally costs around IDR 150,000 to IDR 250,000 per person and takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. You can book these services in advance through local travel agencies or at your accommodation in Mount Bromo.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike in Mount Bromo is an option. After renting, head towards Probolinggo, following the same route as for private cars. The ride will take around 2 to 2.5 hours. Be cautious on the roads and ensure you have a valid license and helmet. Once in Malang, use a GPS or map app to navigate to Kiduldalem, Klojen, where Malang City Square is located.
