The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around IDR 30,000. After arriving at Obi Island, continue driving to Kawasi, which is about a 30-minute drive from the ferry terminal. Follow the signs to Kawasi, and once in the village, ask locals for directions to Pulau Malamala.

    For those using public transportation, take a minibus or shared taxi from Ternate to Sofifi. The fare is typically around IDR 20,000. Upon arrival in Sofifi, board the ferry to Obi Island. The ferry ticket costs about IDR 30,000. Once you reach Obi Island, you can hire a local taxi or take another minibus to Kawasi. This journey will take about 30 minutes. It's advisable to confirm with the driver that you are heading to Kawasi. Once in Kawasi, ask locals to guide you to Pulau Malamala.
