• Car

  If you are driving to Pos LM, start from the city of Ternate, which is the main urban center in North Maluku. Head south on Jalan Raya Ternate - Sofifi. After approximately 1 hour, you will reach Sofifi. From there, you need to take a ferry to Obi Island. The ferry departs frequently, but it's advisable to check the schedule in advance. The ferry ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once on Obi Island, continue driving south on the main road until you reach Kawasi. Look for the coordinates FC94+8JM on your GPS or map application. Pos LM is located near these coordinates.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a minibus (angkot) from Ternate to Sofifi. This journey will take about 1 hour. Upon reaching Sofifi, you can purchase a ticket for the ferry to Obi Island. After arriving on Obi Island, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (ojek) or find a local shared transportation option to get to Kawasi. Make sure to show the driver the coordinates FC94+8JM.
