Getting There

• Car

  If you are renting a car in Pulau Bunaken, start your journey by heading to the nearest ferry terminal on the island. Take a ferry from Bunaken to Manado, which usually takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Manado harbor, drive towards Jl. Raya Manado-Bitung and continue straight for approximately 18 km until you reach the junction for Wori. Follow the signs for Wori and drive for another 10 km. Once you arrive in Wori, look for the sign pointing toward Talawaan Atas. Pomantou-lanongbuka is located at Jaga 4, Talawaan Atas. Make sure your GPS is set to the coordinates: Latitude 1.5959118, Longitude 124.8897118. Parking should be available near the site.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start your journey by taking a ferry from Bunaken to Manado. After arriving at the Manado harbor, look for a local bus or 'angkot' (minibus) heading towards Wori. The fare for the bus is approximately IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000, depending on the distance. Inform the driver that you want to go to Talawaan. Once you reach Wori, you may need to walk or find a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you to Pomantou-lanongbuka at Jaga 4, Talawaan Atas. The motorcycle taxi fare should be around IDR 10,000 to IDR 20,000. Make sure to have some cash handy for the fares.
