Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Batam City. Head southeast on Jl. Raya Bintan toward Jl. Hang Tuah. Follow the signs for Jl. Raya Galang and continue straight for approximately 30 km. After crossing the bridge to Galang Island, keep an eye out for signs directing you toward Abang Island. Once on Abang Island, follow the road leading to G726+JH2 Pulau Dedap. The beach is located on the eastern side of the island, where you can park your vehicle nearby.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus or taxi from Batam City to the Batam Centre terminal. From there, you will need to take a minibus heading towards Galang. Request the driver to drop you off at the bridge leading to Abang Island. After crossing the bridge, look for local transport options (such as motorbike taxis) to take you directly to Dedap Beach at G726+JH2 Pulau Dedap. Be prepared to negotiate the fare, which could range from IDR 20,000 to IDR 50,000 depending on the distance.

• Boat

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider taking a boat from Batam City to Abang Island. Boats are available at several docks in Batam, such as the Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. Make sure to ask for a boat that goes directly to Abang Island. The boat fare typically ranges from IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000. Once you arrive on Abang Island, you can either walk or take a local vehicle to reach Dedap Beach, located at G726+JH2 Pulau Dedap.
