Public Bus
Start your journey at the Semarang city center. Head to the main bus terminal, which is Terminal Terboyo. You can take a local bus or a becak (traditional rickshaw) to get there. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading to Ungaran. The bus ride takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Ungaran, and they will help you. You will arrive at the Ungaran bus stop.

From the Ungaran bus stop, you will need to walk to the base of Mount Ungaran. Head northwest on Jl. Diponegoro, then turn left onto Jl. Raya Ungaran. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will notice signs directing you towards Mount Ungaran. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance of the hiking trail.
