From any point in Chinatown Semarang, head towards the main road, Jl. Gang Baru. Walk straight until you reach Jl. Tanjung Mas, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. Once you reach Jl. Tanjung Mas, turn left and continue walking straight. After approximately 1 km, you will see the entrance to Old Town Semarang on your right, located at the address 2CJH+M9F, Tanjung Mas, Semarang Utara. Look for historical landmarks and signage as you approach.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chinatown. After renting, take Jl. Gang Baru and head towards Jl. Tanjung Mas. The bike ride will take about 5-10 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach Jl. Tanjung Mas, turn left and continue until you reach Old Town Semarang. Public Transport (Angkot)
You can take an Angkot (minibus) from Chinatown Semarang. Look for Angkot number 11 that heads towards Tanjung Mas. Board the Angkot and pay the fare which is usually around IDR 5,000. Once you reach the Tanjung Mas stop, get off and walk about 5 minutes towards the Old Town Semarang, which will be on the same road. The Angkot ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
