Walking
If you are starting from Semarang's Kota Lama, head south on Jl. Letjen S. Parman for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Jl. Pandanaran. Turn left onto Jl. Pandanaran and continue walking for about 500 meters. Tugu Muda will be on your left, easily recognizable by its tall monument.

Public Transport - Bus
From Semarang's main bus terminal, Terminal Terboyo, take a bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop near Jl. Pandanaran. Once you alight, walk approximately 300 meters north along Jl. Pandanaran. Tugu Muda will be visible ahead of you.

Public Transport - Angkot (Minibus)
Take an angkot (a shared minibus) on the route that goes through Jl. Pandanaran. Board any angkot from the central market area of Semarang and tell the driver you want to go to Tugu Muda. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off when you see the monument on your left.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Semarang Grand Mosque and head east on Jl. Pemuda. Continue straight until you reach Jl. Pandanaran. Turn left and cycle for about 1.5 km. Tugu Muda will be on your right. There are bike lanes available along some parts of the route.
