    From Simpang Lima, head northwest towards Jalan Pahlawan. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection at Jalan Mataram. Turn left onto Jalan Mataram and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach Jalan Pemuda, where you will see Taman Indonesia Kaya on your right. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually find yourself in the Old Town Semarang area.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops around Simpang Lima. Head northwest towards Jalan Pahlawan and cycle straight for about 500 meters. Turn left onto Jalan Mataram and continue for about 1 kilometer. After reaching Jalan Pemuda, turn right, and you’ll find yourself entering the Old Town Semarang area. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

  • Public Bus

    From Simpang Lima, walk to the nearest bus stop on Jalan Pahlawan. Look for bus number 1, which travels towards the Tanjung Mas area. Board the bus and stay on for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the 'Tanjung Mas' stop. From there, it’s a short walk east towards Old Town Semarang, which is approximately 500 meters away. The bus fare is around IDR 3,000.

    You can catch an 'angkot' from Simpang Lima, specifically one that goes to the Tanjung Mas route. Look for an angkot with a sign indicating 'Tanjung Mas' or 'Kota Lama'.
