    If you are driving from Banjarmasin, head north on the Trans Kalimantan Highway (Route 1) for approximately 400 km. After about 4-6 hours of driving, you will reach the town of Pangkalan Bun. From Pangkalan Bun, continue driving for about 25 km towards Kumai. Look for the signs leading to Kumai and follow them until you reach Jl. Masjid. Turn left onto Jl. Masjid, and the Orangutan Tour office will be located on your right at Jl. Masjid No.22.

  • Public Transportation

    From Banjarmasin, take a bus from the Terminal Gambir to Pangkalan Bun. The journey takes about 8-10 hours. Once in Pangkalan Bun, you can take a minivan or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Kumai. The minivan should cost around IDR 30,000-50,000 and takes about 30 minutes. In Kumai, ask the driver to drop you off at Jl. Masjid. The Orangutan Tour office is located at Jl. Masjid No.22.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or ride-hailing service like Grab or Gojek from Pangkalan Bun to Kumai. This will cost around IDR 100,000-150,000 and takes approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to Jl. Masjid No.22 in Kumai Hilir, where the Orangutan Tour office is located.
