Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Banjarmasin, the capital of South Kalimantan. Head southeast on Jalan A. Yani towards Jalan S. Parman. Continue straight for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Martapura. From Martapura, take the road heading east towards Aranio. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for signs towards Bukit Batas. The hiking area is located at F22R+PCX, Tiwingan Lama, Aranio, Banjar Regency. Parking may be available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Bukit Batas using public transportation, take a bus from Banjarmasin to Martapura. Buses depart regularly from the Terminal Type A Banjarmasin. The fare is around IDR 20,000 (approximately $1.50) and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Martapura, look for a local minibus or 'angkot' heading to Aranio. The fare for this leg is around IDR 15,000 (about $1.00) and will take another 30 minutes. Disembark at Tiwingan Lama village, and from there, you may need to walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach Bukit Batas.
