If you are driving from Makassar, take the Trans Sulawesi highway (Jalan Poros Sulawesi) heading towards the south. The distance to Bantimurung Waterfall is about 30 km, and it should take approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs towards Bantimurung, and once you reach the entrance of the Bantimurung National Park, you will need to pay an entrance fee of around IDR 10,000 per person. Continue driving until you find the parking area near the waterfall entrance.

Public Transportation - Minibus
From Makassar, head to the Terminal Mallengkeri. Look for a minibus (angkot) heading to Maros. The fare is about IDR 20,000. Tell the driver you want to go to Bantimurung Waterfall. The minibus will drop you off at the entrance of Bantimurung National Park. From there, you will need to walk about 1 km to reach the waterfall, and you will have to pay an entrance fee of IDR 10,000.
