Once you reach Baubau, you will need to take a ferry to Wangi-Wangi Island, which is the main access point to the national park. The ferry ride takes about 3-4 hours and costs around IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 per person. After arriving on Wangi-Wangi Island, you can hire a local guide or use a motorbike taxi to reach the park entrance.

Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Kendari and the journey takes approximately 6-8 hours, costing around IDR 75,000 to IDR 100,000. Upon arriving in Baubau, head to the port to catch the ferry to Wangi-Wangi Island. As mentioned previously, the ferry ride costs between IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 and takes about 3-4 hours.
