Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Walking
From any location in Kenjeran, head towards the main road, Jalan Kenjeran. Once you reach the main road, look for signs indicating 'Suroboyo Bridge' or ask locals for directions. Walk along Jalan Kenjeran for approximately 1-2 kilometers, keeping the coastline on your left. You will eventually see a large entrance with signboards leading to Suroboyo Bridge. The bridge is located at Jl. Jemb. Suroboyo, which is directly accessible from the main road.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a faster mode of transportation, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kenjeran. Cycle along Jalan Kenjeran towards Suroboyo Bridge. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your speed. Keep an eye out for pedestrians and traffic, as this area can be busy. Upon arrival, you will find parking areas for bicycles near the entrance of the bridge.
Public Transport (Becak)
Another option is to hire a becak (a traditional three-wheeled pedicab). You can easily find becak drivers around Kenjeran. Simply tell the driver 'Suroboyo Bridge' or show them a map if you have one. The fare should be around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000, depending on your starting point. The ride will take about 10 minutes, and it’s a great way to experience local transport while getting to your destination.
