Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Tana Toraja, such as Rantepao. Head southwest on Jl. Pahlawan and continue onto Jl. Poros Makale-Rantepao. After approximately 10 km, you will reach the intersection near the village of Ratte Buttu. Turn left onto a smaller road leading to the location's coordinates (PMXR+QM9). Follow the signs and local directions to Lembah Kendenan, which is approximately 5 km down this road. Ensure to have a GPS or maps app handy, as some areas may not have clear signage. Parking is available near the site.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus (angkot) from the main terminal in Rantepao heading towards Makale. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Ratte Buttu. Once you arrive, you can either walk approximately 2 km or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you directly to Lembah Kendenan. Keep in mind that you may need to negotiate the fare with the motorcycle taxi driver. Ensure you have some cash on hand for the journey.

If you're comfortable riding a motorcycle, consider renting one in Rantepao. After renting, head south on Jl. Pahlawan, then onto Jl. Poros Makale-Rantepao. Follow the directions mentioned above to reach Lembah Kendenan. The ride offers scenic views but be cautious of the local traffic and road conditions. Rental costs typically range from IDR 100,000 to IDR 150,000 per day. Don't forget to wear a helmet and carry your driver's license.
