Getting There

  • Car

    If you have a car, start from Rantepao, the main town in Tana Toraja. Head north on Jalan Poros Makale-Rantepao. After about 15 km, you will reach a junction; take the left turn towards Kapala Pitu. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you see signs for Lolai. The road will become narrower and windier as you approach. Once you reach Lolai village, follow local signs to To' Tombi. Parking is available, but be mindful of local regulations.

  • Public Transportation

    From Rantepao, take a local minibus (known as 'angkot') heading to Makale. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kapala Pitu. The fare is approximately IDR 20,000. Once you arrive in Kapala Pitu, you may need to hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you the remaining distance to Lolai - To' Tombi, which should cost around IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000.
