From Ubud center, head southwest on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue on this road for about 5 km (approximately 15 minutes). You will pass through the village of Pengosekan. After passing the intersection with Jalan Raya Tegallalang, keep going straight. Soon, you will see a sign for Batu Karu Temple. Turn left onto a smaller road and drive for another 1 km until you reach the temple's parking area. Note that there may be a small parking fee of around IDR 5,000.

Public Transportation
To reach Batu Karu Temple by public transport, you will need to take a local 'bemo' (shared minivan) from Ubud. Head to the Ubud Market area where bemo services are available. Look for a bemo heading towards Tabanan. The fare is approximately IDR 20,000. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Batu Karu Temple. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the road leading to the temple, it may be a short walk (about 15 minutes) to reach the temple entrance. Be prepared for the possibility of a small entrance fee, usually around IDR 10,000.
