Getting There

  • Car

    From Ubud, head south on Jl. Raya Ubud towards Jl. Sanggingan. Once you reach the intersection with Jl. Raya Goa Gajah, turn left and continue straight. Follow the signs for Jl. Raya Uluwatu. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, take the right turn onto Jl. Raya Uluwatu Pecatu. Continue on this road for about 15 minutes, passing through Pecatu village. Once you reach the entrance to Nyang Nyang Beach, you can park your car in the designated area for a small fee (around IDR 5,000). From the parking area, there is a steep path that leads down to the beach.

    In Ubud, you can use local taxis or ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab. Simply input 'Nyang Nyang Beach, Jl. Raya Uluwatu Pecatu' as your destination. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic, and will cost around IDR 200,000 to IDR 300,000. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at the entrance to the beach, where you can pay a small parking fee if you have a vehicle.

    Take a 'bemo' (local minibus) from Ubud to Denpasar and then transfer to a bemo heading towards Uluwatu. You will need to ask the driver to drop you off at the Pecatu area. Once you reach Pecatu, you can walk or take a local taxi for the remaining distance to Nyang Nyang Beach.
