From Ubud, head south on Jl. Raya Ubud. Continue straight onto Jl. Raya Penestanan. Follow the road as it changes to Jl. Raya Sayan, then to Jl. Raya Tjampuhan. Merge onto Jl. Teuku Umar and follow the signs for Nusa Dua. After passing through Nusa Dua, take the exit toward Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai. Continue to follow this road until you reach the Ungasan area. Turn onto Jl. Melasti and follow it until you reach Sunset Melasti Beach. Estimated travel time is about 1 hour, depending on traffic.

From Ubud, you can take a Bemo (shared minivan) to Kuta. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Kuta terminal. From there, transfer to a Bemo heading to Ungasan.
