Car
If you are traveling by car, take the Jakarta-Bogor Toll Road (Toll Jagorawi) from Jakarta. Follow the signs to Bogor and exit at Bogor Selatan. Once you exit, follow Jl. Raya Dramaga towards Bogor City. Continue straight until you reach Jl. Ir. H. Juanda. The Bogor Botanical Gardens will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance, but be prepared for a parking fee of approximately IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000.
Train
For those using public transportation, take a commuter train from Jakarta to Bogor Station. Trains run regularly from various stations in Jakarta, including Jakarta Kota and Gambir. The journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Bogor Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Jl. Siliwangi). You can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take an angkot (public minibus) heading to the Botanical Gardens (look for angkots labeled 'Kebun Raya'). The angkot fare is around IDR 5,000.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Jakarta to Bogor. Several bus companies operate from various terminals in Jakarta. Look for buses heading to Bogor (such as from Terminal Kampung Rambutan or Terminal Pulo Gadung). The bus fare ranges from IDR 20,000 to IDR 50,000 depending on the service.
