Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Jakarta, take the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road (Toll Road 1) and continue on the Jagorawi Toll Road. Follow the signs for Bogor and exit at the Bogor toll gate. From there, follow the signs towards Sukabumi and take the route that leads to Cicurug and Sukabumi. Once in Sukabumi, follow the signs to Pelabuhan Ratu. The distance from Jakarta to Pelabuhan Ratu Beach is approximately 150 km and can take around 4-5 hours depending on traffic conditions. There may be toll fees along the way, which can vary but expect to pay around IDR 50,000 - IDR 100,000.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Pelabuhan Ratu Beach via public transportation, start by taking a train from Jakarta to Sukabumi. The train departs from Pasar Senen Station or Gambir Station, and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Sukabumi Station, you can take a minibus (angkot) or a taxi to Pelabuhan Ratu Beach. The minibus ride will take approximately 1 hour and costs around IDR 20,000 - IDR 30,000.   Another option is to take a bus from Jakarta to Sukabumi. Buses leave from various terminals in Jakarta, such as Kampung Rambutan or Lebak Bulus.
