Car
From Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara, take the Trans Sumbawa road (Route 1) heading east towards Sumbawa Besar. Continue driving for about 3 hours until you reach Sumbawa Besar. From Sumbawa Besar, follow the signs to Seketeng, which is about a 30-minute drive. Once in Seketeng, ask locals for directions to Istana Dalam Loka, which is a well-known landmark. There is no entrance fee to visit the palace.

From Mataram, take a bus to Sumbawa Besar. Buses leave frequently from the terminal and the journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival in Sumbawa Besar, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Seketeng. The minibus ride to Seketeng will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically costs around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Once in Seketeng, you can easily find your way to Istana Dalam Loka by asking the locals.
