Continue driving for approximately 1.5 hours until you reach the town of Poto Tano. From Poto Tano, follow the signs to Mantar Hill. The final stretch involves taking a local road leading up to Jalan Tapir, where Mantar Hill is located. Make sure to check your GPS for the most accurate directions as the roads can be narrow and winding near the hill. Expect to pay for fuel and possibly any tolls along the way.

Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, start by taking a bus from Mataram to Sumbawa Besar. Buses leave regularly throughout the day and the journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Sumbawa Besar, transfer to a local minivan (angkot) heading to Poto Tano. This part of the journey will take another hour. After reaching Poto Tano, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) or arrange a car to take you to Mantar Hill. Note that you should negotiate the fare upfront, and expect to pay around IDR 50,000 to 100,000 for the ride from Poto Tano to Mantar Hill.
