If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara. Head east on Jl. Raya Mataram until you reach the intersection with Jl. Raya Narmada. Turn left onto Jl. Raya Narmada and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs toward Taman Hutan Raya Nuraksa. Once you reach the area of Pakuan, look for the entrance which is marked with clear signage. There may be a small parking fee of around IDR 5,000 to 10,000 for your vehicle.

To reach Taman Hutan Raya Nuraksa via public transportation, take a bemo (local minibus) from Mataram to Narmada. You can find bemos at designated bemo terminals in Mataram. The fare is typically around IDR 15,000. Once you arrive in Narmada, you can either take a local taxi or continue using a bemo to get to Pakuan. Inform the driver that you are heading to Taman Hutan Raya Nuraksa. Expect to pay an additional fare of IDR 10,000 to 20,000 for this short trip.

If you prefer to walk from Narmada to Taman Hutan Raya Nuraksa, it is about a 3-kilometer trek. After arriving in Narmada, head towards Desa Pakuan.
